#11 Answer *Just for you Kirstin*

Alternative Hypothesis would be falsified if the number of apoptotic cancer cells stays the same of is decrease.
The Null hypothesis would be falsified if just one or more doses had an increase in apoptotic cancer cells.

Experiment:

  • monitor one cancer cell type at a time.

ex:skin cancer cells

  • plate skin cancer cells on 300 plates
  • on 100 of the 300 plates leave cancer cells alone=negative control
  • on the rest of plates in groups of 20 put increments of doses of calypso.
  • monitor for 2hrs of incubation

EX:
20 @ 0ng/mL
20 @ 5ng/mL
20 @ 10ng/mL
20 @ 15ng/mL
20 @ 25ng/mL
20 @ 50ng/mL
20 @ 75ng/mL
20 @ 100ng/mL
20 @ 150ng/mL
20 @ 200ng/mL
